There are four.

They are all still alive.

Entity owns two.

Last time one was auctioned it went for well north of 100B although something went wrong with the auction iirc. I'd imagine they'd go for 250-500B nowadays. If not more...

I am sure if you found something rare enough from Entities list of things he needs for his "own one of everything in EVE" project (he is missing a few officer mods for example) he would make a deal.

Some of the posts on Entity's site offer an interesting tidbit from ages past, for those of us too new to have experienced it first hand:

Entity wrote:
Beyond Insanity...

2 days ago I acquired the formidable Corvus and Storm battleships from Band of Brothers, who had won them in the Alliance Tournament.
The ships have since been renamed by CCP and are now called Raven State Issue and Tempest Tribal issue (arguably more appropriate names).
The only real problem with those pretty things was the pricetag. I did manage to talk the price down a bit, but it still taxed my resources to say the least.

Another problem is that the Powers that Be decided to give these ships a Level 5 skill requirement. Now, due to the somewhat godlike nature of these ships that doesn't come as a total surprise, but the thing is, I DON'T HAVE THOSE SKILLS!

*starts training...*

In (totally unrelated, honest!) other news: Band of Brothers managed to raise enough funds to finance at least 2 more Titan class vessels. Rumour has it they are adding a Leviathan BPO to their portfolio to complete their set. How they managed to raise this much ISK in such short time remains a mystery.

How indeed...

That's crazy...I had no idea that ship was so rare. I have collected a Raven and a Raven Navy Issue and wanted to round out my Raven collection...but I'm a broke ass S.O.B. so that's far beyond my reach lol I might not even be alive long enough to reach 100 billion worth of isk unless I hit the New Eden jackpot

COME ON BIG MONEY lol WINNER WINNER QUAFE DINNER ;)

Thanks for all your help...oh and for the guy who wanted to have an RSI on his lossmail, I wouldn't even run the thing lol just collect it and store it in a safe spot to admire and be like ooo shiny :D

One of the great things about EVE is its permanence. Some ships will never be seen again, and people LIKE it that way. You should have heard the uproar when CCP suggested reintroducing the Gold Magnate some 10 years after its initial extinction.

The special edition Raven State Issue ship....how do you get one? Trade hubs and contracts return no results. How does one go about getting their hands on one of these ships?

If you're trying to level up your raven you need purple modules. Thats max level.

David attenborough should make a documentary about the rare ships in EVE.

Now this here is the Raven State Issue in its natural habitat the station hangar, look at its majestic hull as it spins for the 30,583th iteration. AMAZING!

there is one rare ship, however, that nobody will ever set their eyes again, and it's called the Golden Magnate.

goddamnit Tyrrax Thorrk, you had to lose it to m0oP

I wouldn't mind CCP organizing another succession trial again once Jamyl somehow kicks the bucket (which is long overdue imho). Could even be a cool step towards giving capsuleers even more power.

There should be a museum station in concord space or somewhere rare.. maybe eve gate system?

where u can dock and walk in station and watch all the models and ships which have been introduced into the game at some points.. old models as well as new ones..

just walk on memory lane see them in their glory.

then return into the rookie ship and go somewhere else.

I'll admit that I've been a bit out of the loop, so I'll ask here: Under what circumstances were the Stratios Emergency Responder ships released?

And yes, I wouldn't mind there being another EVE event where ONE Golden Magnate could be up for grabs. It's been 10 years now.

I'll agree to that golden egg be added again only if it won't be able to dock ever and it will spawn in middle of faction warfare space.

If you have to ask that question:

You have no idea about the Stae Ravens story.
You are VERY far from the money you need (think in trillions not billions).

Or both of the above.

I know I probably shouldn't link killboards, but maybe this time, as it is relevant, they may let it slide.

Two Raven State Issue losses.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

"The Raven State Issue (originally named the Corvus) was designed by CCP as the top prize in the 3rd Caldari Alliance Tournament in December of 2006. Four were awarded to the winning team from Band of Brothers at the end of the tournament, of which one was sold on to wealthy item collector Entity (Entity's item collection) for a very large sum of ISK. It is one of the most coveted ships in EVE and as such, it commanded a hefty price-tag of approximately 240 billion ISK in the most recent auction held in 2010. "

AFAIK, The Fedathron is the rarest, as there has only ever been one. The Imperial Apoc also deserves a mention as it's the last of the 4 unique BS's that Entity doesn't own.
