I have a question...would appreciate your help.

The special edition Raven State Issue ship....how do you get one? Trade hubs and contracts return no results. How does one go about getting their hands on one of these ships?

You don't Some ships like that don't exist anymore because they got killed. I think the RSI was an Alliance Tournament prize so there was never more than 50 of them in game ever.

If you could get your hands on one of those prize ships, the price would be ungodly as well.

They were given out to winners of 1 of the Alliance Tournaments. Only way to get one is to buy one from an owner, u will need about 1 Trillion Isk

tournament ships are worth sums upwards to the trillion isk (no joke). Think you can get a tournament issue frigate for no less than quite a few billions.

Only 4 state ravens were ever given out, and that was years ago (2006 i believe, maybe 2005). The only way to even have a shimmer of hope of obtaining one is becoming at least as rich as the people owning them right now (count on needing at least 13 numbers before the decimal point). If you do get that rich, you'll know who has them and for what price they may be bought, if at all.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

However, OP, I do actually know somebody who owns one. Granted it's been about a year since I last talked to them but they still exist.

I saw one for sale about 2 years ago. I forget who had it, but they were asking 500 Billion. The bid was at 250 Billion. The owner said he'd throw in 100 Billion worth of Officer Mods...

Don't know if it ever got sold...

Wasn't there some story way back when about BoB and some shenanigans went on with the RSI and a rare Tempest when they got Awoxed by goons ? Can't recall.

EDIT. just checked and they all seem to still be BoB owned so maybe was just rumours.

its a nice toy, but yeah, undock that and half of high-sec will come running with tornadoes.

for purpose of collecting, im not sure you can buy this ship anymore, even for trillions.

For actual use, just get the navy issue, its just as good. and the next logical step is a golem.

They are all still alive.

Entity owns two.

Last time one was auctioned it went for well north of 100B although something went wrong with the auction iirc. I'd imagine they'd go for 250-500B nowadays. If not more...
