You don't like the Barghest? Personally I think that ship and the other ships in that faction look amazing. Wish pirate factions had as many ships as the normal 4 factions.

Best. = Panther.
Runner Up = Manticore
Bronze = Hel

Worst = Barghest or as i like to call it Barfest. (Seriously It looks out of place, unfinished and STUPID.
Runner Up = Dominix (Outdated no effort blob).
Bronze = Selection of t1 frigs but my most hated has to be slasher as the much more used interceptors are based on them and i hate seeing them).

just so its clear my deep hatred of the barghest is not a Mordus thing
I got a Garmur tonight and its one of eve's best ever designed ships. WTF happened they get bored by the battleship?

If I was given a 1 off special edition black Garmur I think I would cry with delight.

Worst: Nestor/Barghest (all SoE and Mordu's are the good (F), the better (C), the ugly (BS) ship lines)

Worst: Bantam, Blackbird, Revenant, Nestor, Celestis, Thorax

Funny thing about the Nestor, before its release at least (dunno if it exists anymore, it was called a Nestor) there was an item ID on database which showed a ship, no texture no nothing but it looked more like a Star Wars star destroyer. IT WAS SO COOL, why did we get this buttplug Nestor?

that's a placeholder model for all ships without models, the teir 3 battlecruisers got them too

and the nestor is beautiful

top: nestor, rook (**** yes the BB hull is nice), ishtar, proteus, tempest, thanatos

worst: all this new symmetrical crap, all of the t3 BCs, legion (why)


none of the new stuff looks "alien" anymore, and that's a bit surprising for a race separated from humanity for 22,000 years

still worse: dominix, hyperion, talos, bantam, imicus

worst: blackbird, osprey, aeon

recently fixed and being cool: typhoon, sentinel, moa, condor

there are many best; from Dramiel, executioner, hound, Megathron, Abaddon to Rifter, punisher, prophecy/hurricane, Nightmare..


note: mordu ships so ... not cool as much as SoE ships

I don't really care what they look like, my computer runs at the lowest resolution possible to handle several accounts. If all ships were only spheres or cubes of different sizes and colors, fine. Increase the usable not the eye candy content in Eve making ships challenging to fly in infinite situations, stop changing their specs every 3 months just because and I'll be happy.

First, battle royale, loves vs. hates. I only took the top/bottom two from everyone on this thread so far:

Most loved ship(s): Scorpion (Widow, frequently), Dramiel with 7 mentions each
Runners up: Manticore (5), Thorax/Phobos (4), Stratios (4), Nyx (4), Nightmare (4), Machariel (4)

Most hated ship: Imicus, with 15 mentions.

Now general appreciation vs. causes for concern (all mentions, ignoring previous winners):

Appreciated: Moa (8), Typhoon (7), Rifter (5)

Controversial ships: Barghest (3 for, 5 against), Thorax(4 for, 3 against)

Finally, racism-

3 counts of general praise for Caldari, 5 against. Truly a Marmite race.
8 counts of hatred for Gallente (6 of which specifically mentioned Gallente industrials)
4 counts of hatred for Sansha.
1 count of hatred for Minmatar.
1 count of praise for Mordus Legion and Angel Cartel each.


Go figure, CCP would do well to redo the Imicus, Bantam and Blackbird ASAP.
