Many, in fact all, of the of the Amarr ships need to bought in-line with the Confessor: the detail needs to be increased as well as scale should be consistent across all ships - in general there needs to be more smaller bits-and-bobs that stick out and add more detail/scale or visual 'noise' rather than just lumps flat metal. It'll increase poly count by a little, but, if done correctly can be manageable and will add more 'life' to all ships.

We've been waiting for this Dominix redesign for what seems like forever.

Worst = Revenant. Seriously, this thing looks like my morning log on a bad day.

I wake up some mornings and drop a Revenant in the toilet as well. Seems CCP thought up that ship's model after a night of eating Thai food.

I'm surprised folks haven't given the vexor line some love. The Ishtar looks great, and the navy vex is also pretty sleek.

The venture is another ship that gets overlooked. As the F150 of eve, it has a load of hillbilly sleep-with-yer-cousin appeal.

The context of a ship's use also affects its attractiveness.

All tech 3 ships in enpire space are ostentatious bling. I can respect a bitter pirate who hunts stray bears for fun, if he does it in a tech 1 ship. Folks who gank empire bears in tech 3 ships have no honour, and bring the game down.

The other important context is how ships look in a fleet. A fleet of dramiels is just a swarm of drones, next to a 20 strong battleship fleet with four distinct wings.

The Imcus hull is just an outright disgrace. It is the trabant of Eve.

Spaceboner:
Apocalypse,Providence, Confessor, Orthrus, new Blackbird (the stealth guy really needs to do more designs for this game, anybody know who he is?)

Good:
Abbadon, Crucifier, Garmur, Barghest, Corax, Manticore, Astero, Maelstrom, Typhoon, Revelation, Hel, Archon, Dragoon, Naga, Naglfar, Bowhead, rest of Stealth Bombers

Meh:
Tristan, Maulus, Algos, Talos, Brutix, Megathron, Punisher, Maller, Oracle, Drake, Ferox, Sigil, Venture

Ugly:
Everything else with the Rupture as absolute worst. If you zoom in closely you can hear it beg for a swift death...
And why did they destroy the Incursus hull. It was a cute little ship. Now it looks dumb.

Also don't Customs Dominixes floating around stargates look like big lazy goldfish in a tank? Watching them move about is hypnotizing.

I used to enjoy Sansha´s Ships back in the day, when they had DIFFERENT COLORS and didn´t look like ... ugh . The Hull models are ok, The Nightmare is atrocious in the fact it doesnt invoke a nightmare of sorts but a meh. Rest are nice looking, insect like.

The Revenant is well .. the worst offender.

Most Eve ships not only look ugly, e.g. proteus, but they offend my sense of reality. Many ships have hot plasma exhausting onto hull or along the hull, like the proteus. How stupid can that be? Even a kid clearly understands that hot flaming stuff against something solid usually causes burning and melting... apparently the graphic designers haven't clued onto that yet.

Another issue missed by designers who don't follow RL space developments, is that heat venting is a big issue inside a sealed vehicles with heat producing weaponry, electronics and especially huge "nuclear-of-some-sort" drives that vent plasma. The ships need huge heat-venting radiators. In this regard, some of the Minmatar ships look the best, are the most realistic with their huge radiatiating fins (Maelstrom, some BCs), and because of those rare sensible Minmatar ship designers, I love flying the Minmatar ships.

Yes, I **KNOW** Eve Online is a space fantasy game where eye-candy rules and imagination runs wild.

No, he doesnt.

To me it seems like the guy single handedly designed all Mordu's ships, the Blackbird and now the latest T3 destroyers including the Caldari one look like they were made by him too. Probably the Moa was made by him as well.

All those ships have way too many similarities. The surfaces and edges etc, it all points to this one designer, and to me that looks CHEAP.
