You arent the only one. I cant log in. It says cluster not accepting connections for me.

getting a pop up window when I log in to duality window says cluster not accepting connections.

Also having issues with /setpassword

I'm assuming it's /setpassword(Space)password with no quotes or any adornments, but that is not producing any response at all, tried it in local, alliance, and corp chat.

please advise?


edit: is it possible for the alliances that previously had permissions you may have copied (or left intact) a captain role on an old character, or they didn't apply to the new set? (just throwing it out randomly, as it seems like a couple of people who are new and then changed role alliances may not be getting it to work?)

I also was last year captain and stuff worked just fine for me.

Looks like ppl who were not captains and/or in alliances which took part in AT11 have troubles with Duality access/features.

Captain this year, not last year, but our alliance attended. I could connect fine, but /setpassword password does nothing except return slash: /setpassword password

It may be that it uses team captain information from an ATXI database table?

Was on a team last year, so had no problem connecting to Duality.

Was not a captain last year, so can't get /setpassword to work.

So far on my team, those people who had access to Duality last year can connect without issue, those who did not have access to Duality last year can not access it.

Seems like the idea that Duality is using last year's VIP and captain list is likely accurate!

THANKS TEAM.

For those having issues, team captains are the only ones who can do the /setpassword command. Ours had a bit of an issue until he was docked in a random nullsec station - then a popup came up saying the home system and the password. Characters not on the team last year were able to get on just fine

Also, how does one go about getting a set of fancy pants beacons in the home system?

This just worked for me - hopped into a station in Curse, typed /setpassword password in chat, and got the popup! Thanks for the tip!!

Merovingian, it appears to work if you are in a nullsec station system. Did not work when I was in a highsec station, but following Elise's tip above, I jumped down to Curse and it worked for me in Doril (NPC nullsec station).

Still have issue with people who were not members of a tournament team alliance last year or had access to Duality last year unable to log in - they enter their username/password and hit login, but get a pop-up saying not accepting connections.

Echoing what Greygal (by way of Elise) said, except try different stations! I tried the /setpassword command in 2X- station in Syndicate, but no dice. Moved 2j to the 6-C station and the command magically worked!

P.S. Is anyone else unable to find players/systems using the social & map search tools, with no hits being returned?

Search function didn't work last year, and apparently does not work this year. Lots of fun using the F10 map to set destinations Lol


Edit: Three of my teammates who were unable to log in earlier are now able to log in! Lol

Ok.. So this is what I have found so far.

1. We had missed new captains. That's my bad. Sorry. It has been fixed now. You may need to log in and out for it to take effect.

2. Some Pilots (and indeed Captains) had some other role weirdness going on. I am looking into that, and why it happened.

3. The low sec / high sec work around is interesting. If it works, great. I will investigate why that is though.

I will update here later today as and when I have more info.
Thanks for your patience.

One last note : Fozzie and I could not remember if we gave out system names to Captains last year. But you will get the system name that you "own" in a pop up after you use /setpassword.
