Duality is open for ATXII teams

I don't think I can reform your alliance on Duality, but you are free to reform it yourself or to just ignore it since alliances aren't needed to practice on Duality.

Upon undocking from station I got blank screen of death and now I am stuck with it. Must be server side because its same after cleaning cashe or trying from second computer.

Can't connect, says incompatible version. Tried to download duality from the page ( http://community.eveonline.com/support/download/test-servers/?_ga=1.208438683.862741191.1390081760 ) but when I tried to install it, it says "Target payload not found". So I tried downloading the payload 1 and 2, 1 downloaded fine but got an error when I tried to download 2.

Any ideas?

1. Make a copy of your TQ folder, the entire thing. Name it Duality

2. Go into the main Eve folder and find the "repair.exe" file. Make a shortcut of that file. Make sure you do this in the Duality folder, not your main TQ folder Lol

3. Right-click, show properties on the shortcut.

4. In the "target" field, AFTER the last quote mark, type a space then the following exactly:

--buildno=805617

The target should end up looking like repair.exe --buildno=805617 or like "repair.exe" --buildno=805617

5. Double-click the shortcut you made. It will repair your copy back to the current version on Duality.

6. It will take a while to repair, 30-40 minutes is not unusual. When it is done, go to the bin folder and find a file named evefile.exe

7. Make a shortcut of evefile.exe, right-click the properties, and in the target field, after the last quote mark, add space then /server:Duality

The target should end up looking something like C:\Games\Duality\EVE\bin\exefile.exe" /server:Duality

8. Double-click the shortcut, and it'll launch Duality!

Most important thing: Do NOT use the launcher file in the Duality folder, if you do, it'll patch your Duality to the current version of TQ and you'll have to repair it all over again.

Just to clarify, the target line for the repair.exe looks like this -
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CCPDuality\EVE\repair.exe" --buildno=805617

Hrm... not sure... sounds like they took that version's download offline maybe?? Not sure... I know it worked (multiple times for numerous people on my team and two friend's teams) over the weekend. May be it is down due to the duality glitch earlier today?

The only other suggestion I can make is to ask someone to zip up their duality folder, upload it somewhere for you to download it from.

Hopefully the Great and Wonderful Fozzie et al will see this and have another solution!

I'm not sure what's up with that, the repair.exe method still works on my machine. I'd advise getting an alliancemate to transfer you a compressed copy of the build.

I seem to be stuck and cannot login on the Duality, although my account is active.

When I pick this character on the char screen on Duality - I get the selection window for a nearby system, and when I pick one - I get the message 'system too busy' and then on second try 'you have been cleared for jump-in within 181 seconds' ... after that, I'm stuck in an indefinite loading screen with the rotating icon over the char panel. No tinkering with the client seems to help me ...

Could you please move this char into any other system ?
