efficiency and capability - doctrine fits

flexibility - multiple doctrines

kitchen sink only works well for very small gangs that run loose and fast with capabile pilots, and even then there is still usually some doctrine-ness to it (ie: everybody be in a shield buffer cruiser that can hit at 30k)
