OK, this may be a noob's question, but I tend to believe the numbers I see, and what I see does not correspond to what my excel says. Tried to google - everyone is interesting in standings influence, not this little difference.

OK, selling smth for 100m, for example. EVE shows:
Broker's fee: 754 462,74 ISK (0.75%)
Sales tax: 750 000,00 ISK (0.75%)

Now, with sales tax that is clean and clear - exactly 0.75%. But what the hell is Broker's fee calculated from?
I though this is (Price + (Price * Sales tax%))*0.75%, but excel shows 755 562

So am I doing it wrong, or that 0.75% is in reality some different number, just not shown all the digits after the coma?

Thanx in advance.

Yeah, but shouldn't that real cost be shown instead of "0.75%" then? Or is that another thing CCP "forgot" ?
Cos I got confused when shown exact number 0.75% and then finding " the cake is a lie" :(

Not sure how your Excel is showing you your Broker's fee.

Broker's fee takes standing into account and is calculated somewhat like this:
[From EVEWiki]: BrokerFee % = (1.000 % – 0.050 % × BrokerRelationsSkillLevel) / 2 ^ (0.1400 × FactionStanding + 0.06000 × CorporationStanding)

If you want to know the exact Broker's fee for a given station just dock up, open the buy order window (advanced), enter 1,000,000,000 (1 Bn) and check the number given for the Broker's fee.
Just make sure just don't accidently accept the order. Blink

Well, I calculated expected fee according to what EVE shows me - Broker's fee: 754 462,74 ISK (0.75%). As it now turns out - that 0.75% EVE shows is not true. Then why is it shown?

The value listed on your market window adjusts for skills but it doesn't adjust for standings. So 0.75 is with perfect skills and it will go below that from the standings, illustrated in the graph linked above. No, it's not intuitive. Yes, it's stupid. Welcome to EVE.

Except his broker fee is above 0.75% while my order window displays 0.55%, so the display likely does represent your broker's fees after both skills and standings.

I imagine what is happening is a) your spreadsheet is wrong and b) your broker's fee is slightly above 0.75% due to either negative standings or higher standings, but unmaxed skills. As for your spreadsheet, you're working out the broker's fee as a percentage of the price plus sales tax, which is why it reports the broker fee should be higher. Remove the sales tax from your broker's fee formula and use the full broker's fee formula then it should work out right.

The order list page on the market window displays only skill related values for me, with all level V skills it shows a 0.75%. The number I use in spreadsheets is the one I see when I sell an item on the sell order window. That value is adjusted for skills AND standings, for me it shows around 0.31% or so. Just go to sell an item on the market and you'll see your true number for that station.

Negative standings will bump you up despite skill level.

Again, it makes no sense why that number doesn't change everywhere it's shown in game. It's item 121 on today's glitch list...

Ah, you mean the order tab in the wallet, while I'm talking about the create order window, haha. It doesn't display the broker's fee as affected by standings in the wallet because different stations are run by different people, and you can place remote orders.
