So what does an Omnidirectional Tracking Links do for Fighter Bombers?

I know now omnis affect fighters aswel so I guess they have an effect on bombers aswel.
Since bombers use magic missiles instead of stuff with tracking, what effect does an omni have on a fighter bomber?
