I don't use it often primarily because it's so small and kinda hard to read. Give the interface an overhaul and I'd use it much more often.

No, I don't use the Ingame calculator.

Why? this

I still use the crap out of the ingame browser though, as "crap and antiquated" as it may be

I use a Naga which has a number pad where my thumb is ... so yes i use the calculator to work out how much i'm charging my alliance for Scourge missiles Cool

Not sure how you would update it tbh... unless you had to calculate transversal velocity....long hand because you had your overview set up wrongly....

So heres a question about the IGB and i guess The IGC why does ccp wanna remove IGB to replace with CREST(w/e that is) why not just put something like firefox(read:open source pretty frikin customizeable) as the IGB?

IGC: why not just make the font and or the whole thing slightly bigger?

Every time I do use it I press the Escape key to clear the display. One day I'll learn.

I have a TI N-spire.

So, no, absolutely not.

I use it occasionally to find out how much ammo of a given type I can cram into a hauler when I'm trying to fill up my carrier. Other than that, no I use my TI 92 or a spreadsheet.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

When I started playing back in 2006 everyone said the calculator was broken, I have not used it since.

Considering we are talking about CCP here, getting a calculator wrong would be business as usual.

Or use the one on your phone.

Confirming that cellphone calculator is more efficient...and I have a Blackberry from half a decade ago.

No. I'm a HP 15C addict.

If that is not sufficient, I switch to Excel.

i use it quite a bit and find it very helpful. i personally don't think it needs to be updated, but then again, i have 3rd grade math skills, so maybe i'm not a good judge. Cool

I use the in-game calculator.

It definitely needs to be a bit larger.

I use it from time to time and the only thing I'd really change is to make it a bit larger so that it's more easily readable.

Of course now that you've planted this seed I fully expect that CCP will feel the need to dump it as well as the IGB, Notepad and other in-game conveniences in the name of "limited developer resources and efficiency".

Same. Anything complex I use excel/gdocs but it's OK for quick checks so it's on my neocom for easy access. It's annoyingly small, pops up in random spots on occasion and ends up being accidentally pinned over something vital.
