Most important thing in wormholes is scanning and scouting, so train a CovOps Frig first and bring those scanning skills to IV. (V is nice ofc, but not really needed)

After that train up the engineering, tanking, etc. skills. The next step depends a lot on what you plan on doing in w-space, but a T3 is usually a good choice.

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but why do you need awesome scanning skills in a wormhole? I lived in a C2 for a while (I don't think the scanning difficulty increases in higher classes, but please correct me if i am wrong) I never came across a signature that i couldn't scan down, or is this more about time efficiency?

Also will you be going into a wormhole solo? You would need skills to anchor the pos's.

It's mostly about time efficiency.
Of course if you never actually leave your home system and only scan down the new highsec once a day you technically don't even need a CovOps. But then, why are you living in w-space?
Since the OP mentioned dictors I suppose that he intends to do PvP, which means lots and lots of scanning. The better your scanning skills are, the better the "time spend probing to time spend doing pewpew"-ratio gets.
