How do we find stuff?

1) join a corp. An active one. Doesn't have to be a C5 elite dread-blapping corp, but a corp of decent PVP-oriented people can give you all the above advice, plus the more people are out looking for stuff the more often you will find things.

2) Get a feel for looking up various websites and add-on tools like Siggy to give you an idea of how to determine if a corp whose w-space POS you find is active in your timezone. I'm finding Eve-eye is handy for determining activity times for corps in wormholes, as long as those corps kill or get killed in their hole.

3) Summon the Luck of Bob by sacrificing your firstborn to him at the sun.

This, plus what was said about patience. If you just want to go from system to system shooting whatever you find, then go to Lowsec or Nullsec. W-space is about the hunt and stalking your prey, not instant gratification.

All this and then some. Long live the hunt.

Solo pilgrm can get very boring, but I find it fun. Hunting indys is mostly what its good for solo unless you go after a non-cap boosted active tanked ship, or a ship that uses hybrids or lasers.

Pilgrim does work great when used with other recons and dps. My favorite thing is to go with one of each cloaked recon and a couple bombers or t3's. The recons work very very well when assisted by the others.

My best advice is practice hunting with it on soft targets. Haulers, noctis' etc. Get used to dscan locating targets, moving and positioning your ship to attack, especially in asteroid fields. Then once you feel confident enough with it, move up to harder targets. Look for other like minded pilots to fly with. Stealth hunting is fun, and there's a lot of other players who enjoy it to.
