This would be made even worse if there was a 1:1 ratio with exchanging LP to SP

four, it would allow me to not wait months and months for higher end skills that take 30+days to train. (im selfish)

Let's pick it apart point by point...

On point "One", it would significantly help older players and older player's alts more than it would help new players. Granted, very early on, speaking as a percentage, sure, you'd have a point, but it's still quite a flimsy approach to the argument.
Besides, they already give out free cerebral accelerators (for now) with every new account, and that's a non-negligible boost to early SP accrual rates.
A better alternative if THAT stated sentence would be your actual goal would be to re-institute the SP bonus for "under X total SP", or rescale the SP needed for various skill levels (so that early levels get completed faster than they are now while total for L5 remains unchanged), or give a "bonus SP" reward for various new-player-focused tutorials//arcs//activities, or a combination of those things.

On point "Two", wealth and just about any tangible//concrete rewards for time spent online are already interchangeable to a rather large degree, indirectly, at least. Intangible//experience rewards for time spent online are only achievable by spending that time online.
If you have enough ISK you can buy just about anything, including characters nearly as old as the game itself (if only you can offer enough ISK). ISK which can be obtained by doing profitable stuff in-game.
The only difference is exchange rate between time spent online and wealth accrued.
Old players have the advantage here again.

On point "Three", see the two points above. Your measures which are supposed to help new players actually end up helping older players more, so comparatively speaking, you're actually HURTING new players in the medium to long run more than you're helping them.

On point "Four"... well, sure, who wouldn't like to spend some ISK (or LP or whatnot else) and get a "spend SP any way you like" coupon ?
Either way, it can all be reduced to spending ISK - worst case scenario, you just buy the character that actually did all the things he needed to do in order to get the SP you want. More likely, you can just put up a "want ad" and somebody will do (for ISK) whatever it is you would have needed to do to get the SP. Even more likely, you can pay ISK to have somebody else do the needed things for your character.
Guess who wins out more here too ?
If you somehow guessed "older players", congratulations, you're finally getting the point.

Seeing as the thread is titled "worst idea ever" I consider this thread to be sarcastic and I think you spent a bit too much time making a post to a deliberatly bad idea

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.
