Tranquility - EVE-TRANQUILITY - 8.45.805617

Recently the feature was added where, after jumping through a stargate or undocking, the next gate or station on your route would be automatically selected on your overview and selected item window. This is extremely frustrating because when I expect to be able to just hit Jump to warp and jump through the next gate, I'm suddenly unable to because the next gate wasn't selected on the overview (or, sometimes it was and yet it doesn't register in the selected item window).

However this has a tendency to intermittently fail (leading to nothing being selected in overview, or next gate selected in overview but not shown in the selected item window). I do not have good reproduction steps unfortunately, but I will give what I suspect to be possible causes of the problem in reproduction steps:

This problem will occur sometimes when selecting a gate, and pressing the "jump" button in the Selected Item window to warp to and jump through the selected gate.

Possible causes:
Alt-tabbing in and/or out of EVE at any point after giving the command to warp and jump, but especially if done during the jump process
Interacting with certain other windows in EVE (chat, assets, people and places (seems to happen even more often while adding waypoints), market)

Guaranteed cause:
Auto-select next gate doesn't seem to work at all when the jump command was selected using the radial menu

EDIT: And this is when it would be great to be able to edit bug reports like we used to be able to because I made it sound like I'm saying the autoselect feature is irritating, when I mean to say that the fact that it wasn't working was irritating.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

I've nocticed this myself - thought it was just my crappy ass laptop causing issues.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.
