Hello there,

Title says it all. If you don't know where Myanmar is please check

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myanmar

If you have anyone from Myanmar in your corp, alliance, coalition. Please point them towards me.

Now, if you ARE from Myanmar, send me an eve mail / convo so that we can do something together IN EvE.

ALL HAIL VELDSPAR ! Yeah, the country IS beautiful, for photo ops, I would recommend the north eastern part of the country. The scenery is absolutely stunning and the women matches the scenery.

If any of you are planning to visit, I would recommend during the winter and as fast as possible before mass tourism ruins the place.

Now, could someone please tell me how to quote different persons in a single reply. Would be much appreciated ^^

Confirming the county is fine for tourism , my mother went there solo a year or two ago and had a fantastic time, no trouble of note (nothing you wouldn't get anywhere else in the world for instance)

This thread has been moved to Out of Pod Experience.

I have also removed some rule breaking posts and those quoting them.

The Rules:
5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

And as a reminder, please refrain from discussing real life (international) politics.

While traveling in Myanmar remember:

Myanmar: No map tattoos below waist

That Florida tattoo is going to be nothing but trouble.

You don't have to solo. You now have the chance to meet players from all over the world. Personally I don't think I've met any EVE players from Myanmar - that I knew of - but we are from everywhere, of course. It seems language might not be a problem for you. English is simply a tool we use to communicate with each other even if we are from different places, which is useful. So, the Russian and the South African can be in the same group with the Japanese, the German...and the Burmese. Hope you enjoy! There are language - specific chat channels one can join, perhaps there is one for yours. If not, you can make one easily. o/

Yeah, please dont say anything REMOTELY political, before that ISD decides its a good idea to can the thread once and for all.

I am not soloing eve, I am in a corp and we do stuff together and its cool. However if you look at the larger more cohesive groups, it's identity that brings them together. The russians are in their own block, being a goon is an identity in itself, so that holds them somewhat together. I kinda wanted to use that cohesive identity thing to do more stuff in eve tat I can't at the moment.
However, it seems like with all the MMO's I've played so far, I am the only guy from my country ... Oh well, the search continues...

I previously had a mate that tried EvE, but he's the theme park MMO type so he didn't stick around and with the mythical learning curve of EvE, I don't think its gonna help me.
