Your info may be outdated. You should check in-game (I will too), as I believe logs were updated with the unified inventory interface.

I think I remember reading that this included the fleet log too: CCP had different item log code in a few places, and replaced it all with a single code base. Of course this could be a figment of my active imagination.

I rarely use audit containers, as they are a PITA (have to wait for the log to expire before repackaging), hence I'm uncertain of the current behaviour.

I never managed to get withdrawals logged, may have just missed the settings, but if you set the container to lock items placed in it, the lock and unlock operations are logged.

On the downside, you need specific permissions to unlock items in a container in a corp hanger.

I might be remembering things wrong but try this. .

The cans won't log items taken out but it logs items that gets unlocked. So lock some items and try unlocking them then check the logs.
