De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

What vexes me is that renters are probably the easiest players to give a hard time to, yet such players who want to give that hard time are mainly found in highsec.

They have renters in hisec. They're called permit holders.

Well, you know.... because nothing says "Please reduce my residual rental income and don't trust me anymore." like killing off your own renters. I think the money is why there's an agreement to begin with- although I could be wrong.

TL;DR If you didn't read the entire post perhaps you're probably ADHD. (seek help)

The answer to ending rental empires has been provided and the mechanics have been well known for a long time. You make an alt, you put him in a bomber or recon, you log him in a renter system after downtime, you cloak, and then go AFK. Log him out when you actually want to play eve, and when you aren't active log him back in.

Congratulations, you just ruined billions in renter income by knowing how to log in.


But of course, there aren't enough people doing this and there never will be because nerds prefer 10% tidi and structure grinds instead of preventing billions of renter isk from coming into existence every month just by logging in.


Both goons and n3/pl have the capability to coordinate and do this to each other. Will it ever happen? No, because they fear retaliation from the other side and they know its better off for both of them to leave the renters and moons alone.

The answer, as always, is to join PASTA.

Killing Renters = less isk for Null Sec Blocs
Less Isk for Null Sec Blocs = less supercap escelations
less supercap escelations = less publicity for eve / ccp

Also I am pretty sure that a lot of the income goes into RMT and funding plex for a bazillion alts. Every alliance leader stuffs his own pockets in null.
