I have one and its dropping every day!

Just wanted to know if anyone else is having this issues.

The Virgin super hubs (1&2) have problems if you're using the WiFi side of them, they can freeze or continually drop the WiFi. Turn off the WiFi and use a wired connection to get on the net, see if it still drops the connection or freezes.

If that fixes it, put the hub into modem mode and use your own router to supply wifi. Mine's been fine since I did that, it rarely drops now.

If that doesn't fix it, get on to Virgin, if it's a network or hardware fault then they're usually pretty quick of the mark to respond in my experience.

Yah I have direct connection to my desktop and that drops as well.

I have posted on the virgin forums and I am currently waiting to see if the changes they recommend will fix it or not.

Very misleading thread title.




Came expecting a thread about a second unified mass transit system area for people who haven't yet had relations..

That was a bit wordy... but.. still... yeah.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

My super hub died... No internet all weekend. Reduced to 3g on my mb. I just hope virgin don't mess me around.
