So how does a smaller alliance deal bigger entities like EE and SYJ, for instance when we roam in small gang they 100% bridge a fleet and caps on us, and infact yesterday they were kind enough to drop 3 supers on our tier3 gang I'm wondering how could a smaller entity take on bigger cap entities without bat phoning and without sufficient caps ourselves some sort of guerrilla warfare? Why would you roam where effectively the State Navy operates and not down in Somaliland?

That dont make no sense, dawg

Well I have a lot of new bros in alliance with not much skill so I take them out on small gang roams but we might have to head to fw rather than genesis and aridia for some fun fights where we stand a chance of winning/having fun

My uncle is kindofa a bigger entity, And holy shiart is he sensitive about that issue.

I just made one little joke. One tiny weeny itzy bitzy comment about his size, maybe two but for sure no more than three, and he won't even talk to me for 2 years now. Shocked

So when dealing with bigger entities, don't try to be funny unless you know what you're doing. Straight

Kinda sad, really. Why do people always make a fuss about somthing like that. Ugh

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

Fighting back is more fun than not.

You're gonna have an even harder time in Aridia. That's LowSechnaya Sholupen territory, and they are much nastier than SYJ and EE. You should talk to SYJ about renting in Khanid, they have lots of room and a good deal, and offer full patronage (ie instead of dropping on you, they'll drop on the people harassing you).

Renting is your answer now to anything that troubles you in low-sec/null. They call it renting but its actually just paying a bribe so you dont get your ass kicked lol

You can't have Genesis without;

1) Religion

OR

2) Peter Gabriel

Can't really combat them straight up if your size is limited. Best bet is to go mention to another big group that so and so like to drop big things and ask if they would be interested in dropping on a fleet like that sometime. Depending on your size that is about your only real combat option. Otherwise, get better at recognizing drops, and be prepared to dock up, best case scenario you take the fight and come out ahead in isk efficiency.

Mostly intel, I guess.

You have to get to know the big guys, which systems they stage from, if they have bridging titans, if yes in which system, who are their neutral scouts/cyno alts, etc..

Yeah it's hard sometimes. Smile

Or try to fight in FW complexes. Mediums allow up to t2 cruisers (not t3) into the acceleration gate.

Larges don't have a gate, they allow any ship but it's still deadspace: no cynos, no warp-to on grid.

Make space glamorous! Is EVE dying or not? Ask the EVE-O Death-o-meter!

The enemy of your enemy is your friend.

Coordinate with other small alliances and corps for a counter offensive. Have HIC's and DPS on standby for the next drop. Gather intelligence prior to anything though. Once the escalation happens, you want to have more to bring than they are willing to bring. Good Luck!

A useful trick is to watchlist the key people involved on dropping on your gangs (such as the Supers dropped on you, any bridging Titans you can identify, maybe FC's you know have led fleets against you), and you can then use this to know if these people are around and likely to cause you trouble (and in the case of the Supers, if you see them all log on simultaniously when your fleet is near by, will give you advance warning of imminent molestation!)

If your going to conduct "Guerrilla Warfare", the first thing you need to do is find & read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu. This book contains all the info you need to strike out at your enemies. SuperCap Blobs have vulnerabilities.... exploit them!
