Oftentimes the second or third wind of an old thread will be the pertinent one where someone twigs something.

They also have a running narrative that you wouldn't get from dispersed threads.

Hello. Anyone seen my Fedo? By the smell in this thread it must have come through here. Please help, it's special. It has a big yellow spot on its back in the shape of Jamyl Sarums silhouette. It was supposed to be a royal present. And then it slithered away. How embarrassing.

I essence you are making the same mistake the people that post in a way you are complaining about.
Don't post about (perceived) rule breaking posts, REPORT THEM. All reports we get in are looked at and acted upon by one of the members of our team.
If we come across posts that are not made by CCP or CCL and containing nothing more than a quote from the forum rules and/or 'reported', they usually get deleted as they are always off topic and therefore redundant.
