Hi guys, I've seen multiple mentions of Macs overheating, but I wanted to know if there are actually any solutions to the problem?!

I am using a MacBook Pro at the moment and the heat it throws off is so insane, that I'm worrying about doing some internal damage if I have the game running for too long!

I run for hours on my MPB, and have had no internal damage yet. I have damaged some of the power connectors, and sometimes need to get a new AC adapter.

The latest version of Eve seems to run cooler.

You can get the application smcFanControl. It helps, a little.

You can get a fan base to set the computer on. It helps, a little.

Between all that, you should be fine.
