Hello,

Are there any Manufacturing Guides ? I want to get into Manufacturing a little, so far I've been training only ships, not much for industrial/production.

Are there any tips, any information I could use to begin my fun with manufacturing ships/ammo/equipment ?
Which of these is the most profitable ( if any, I'm aware it might be equal )
Which skills are crucial ?
Anything else I should know ?
My stats are found at http://eveboard.com/pilot/Leriss_Serenthius

Any information would be HIGHLY appreciated ! Big smile

The Manufacturing page of the EVElopedia has some links that might be of use. You will also want to haunt the Science and Industry forum, there are often people advertising spreadsheets and advice sites there.

Google for the ISK 3.0 and Haladas Mining Guides. The pretty much explain how manufacturing works.
Crucial skills are Production Efficiency V, Advanced Mass Production and Spreadsheet-Fu IV (better V!)

I suggest you search the contracts for some ammunition blueprint copies and get some.
Get the materials needed for one run and install all together. If it feels right then continue (but train PE to reduce production.waste)

I found a skill "http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Drug_Manufacturing"
Drug Manufacturing - is it legit and profitable, or not really worth the hassle?
What are the pros and cons for that ?
Thanks for your previous info, helped a lot !

First of all, profits on production aren't fixed, so you can't say Item x is profitable as the market is player driven. This means supply and demand shift every second the server is up and running.

On drug manufacturing: I really don't know much about it, only know certain drugs are prohibited in high-sec and if a NPC costum officer scans your ship you have to eighter eject them from your hold or be blown up by them. So I guess there will be a not so big supply of them around. This might drive up prices of boosters (drugs).

On general, for production you need to study the market. See what is in high demand but not oversupplied by other production toons. General demand is ammo around for instance major mission spots or near rally point that go into low-sec / null-sec.

Skills you should definately skill up are:

- Industry
- Production Efficiency
- Mass Production and Adv. Mass production
- Any / all trade skills so you can buy / sell more stuff at the same time / buy&sell stuff remotely from greater distances.

Also if you go into blueprint research for your production skill the research skills up.
If you want to mine your own minerals for production, train the mining skills up and try to get into a covetor / hulk.
For hauling stuff around (fetching minerals, transporting items to sell locations) I suggest train up your racial industrial to level 4 (or 5 so you can use blockade runners (T2 industrials) to escape possible suicide gankers).

Also keep in mind you will get into a 1-isk war with other production / trade pilots. So also prepare for what Lutz Major nicely calls spreadsheet-fu.

Often overlooked is that MUCH isk is to be made away from the trade centers without having to engage in 1-isk-wars. Think about supplying incursion sites, faction war hotspots, border regions, exits from 0.0 pipelines (much travelled routes).
I found it more profitable and much more interesting than the 1-isk-wars in trade centers.
