Hi everyone,

I was trying to figure out how to switch between English and Chinese language input on a Mac. I have tried to set shortcuts, yet it doesn't seem to work in Mac version of EVE? Currently I can only type Chinese to google and copy&past it back to EVE chat, which is troublesome and requites playing under window mode. I can't figure out what went wrong. Some help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm sorry I cannot be of much help as I don't have experience in this issue. However, please open a support ticket if you haven't already and they will most certainly have an answer for you.

Well for one there is a separate Chinese Server because of how the government controls the internet over there. As I recall the company Tiancity takes care of all the localization and subscriptions over there. As a result there is no Chinese version of the client for the rest of the world.

Also if it helps at all try using "Fixed Window" mode. Looks like full screen but acts like windowed.

What is the connection between "I cannot type Chinese in the game" and "there is a separate Chinese Server because XXX"?. I appreciate if you can help with my problem. Besides, the communists don't really care about EVE. It's not as big as google for them to take extra care of so as far as I know there is no control over playing EVE on whatever server.
