OVER 41.000 FREE MOON SCANS ( 01/02/2016 : big db update )

Some news :

- Reached 32k scans !!! ( exactly 32.003 moons )

- Added a " Crius special " page for the upcoming Eve expansion

- Added a " Stats " page for statistics ( it can take some time to load )

- Modified some pages to use a minor number of queries to the mysql database

SOME UPDATES :

1) added the ENEA space probe page !!!
a funny project am plying with .

"A space probe is a unmanned spacecraft that leaving a planet orbit explores the deep space.
It may approach moons, enter interplanetary space, fly by, orbit or land on other planetary bodies.
Over the years some EVE entities ( capsulers, corporations, alliances ) have launched several probes into New Eden space to retrieve important data to mankind.

The EVE MOONS PROJECT own one of this probes : ENEA "

see the related page to read what it can do !!!

2) edited some layout :
somebody told that the moons page where too difficult to read due to the qty of numbers in it, so i removed the "0" print for abundance parameter and other colors changes .

3) added 700 more scans :
mainly low sec due to the crius changes , (see previous posts)

And this still leaves the question, why would we have three hundred sixty thousandths of a moon? Especially after mapping twenty nine thousad before hand? 29.000,360 is a very strange number. (29,000.360 for us normal folk =P)

I'd be willing to bet you mapped the locations of the moons. I'd be willing to wager further no moon was actually mapped. What gives me such confidence? It certainly couldn't be the tendency to overstate things so prevalent in today's culture, could it?

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

uploaded today more scans .

Im happy to have now over 6000 scans post-odissey !

PS : now i have to take a little pause to get a plex for the next month and retrieve some isks to buy other probes. so i will be HARD MISSIONING ARGH !!!

Hi guys,
like some of you have noticed i manage the http://eve-moons.com website in my free time .
After some time, to improve the project, i have decided to work on it on a regular basis.
I have divided the activities in two branches, here there is the schedule of what will happen in the future .

NEW LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT :

- on 1° day of every month there will be updates regarding the website .
( Fixings, improving interface, new features, etc... )

- on 15° day of every month there will be the database updates
( Here is where the new scans will be added to the database )

..and i can already tell you that the 15 november database update is HUGE !!!

The only legit way is use the comma for decimals and spaces for thousands integer.

So:

33 572,05 and not the crappy other way around hardly any country uses.

As promised im adding the new scans to the database.

It is one of the hugest update i have ever done :

OVER 1300+ NEW SCANS !!!

The total coverage is now over 20% !!!

( Mainly the scans are related to Crius lowsec systems, but 500 are from Geminate region. )

Hi,

here some software update and fixes :

-fixed a division by 0 error ( Brrr...)
( this happened for system ids : 30000128,30004928,30005286 cause they have no moons in it !!!)

-fixed enea page update
(the page now automatically skip errors)

-added footers to pages for future use
(this is just completing a template stile as headers-body-footer)

-added in the search page the option to search for simple reactions
(this is usefull if you are looking to build a simple reaction in a certain solar system, or from a specific moon)

-added a simple counter to keep track of website stats
(no cookies, this is a simple counter to have an idea of the website usage)

-the stats page will now load instantly
(the stats page now have benn converted to a static page to avoid long time loads)

i have marked what I think is more usefull, let me know if you have more ideas .

(Of course some errors are possible, be free to contact me.)
