Seriously. I thought it would be tiny, but it's been downloading for 8 minutes, and I have to update 3 clients.

Todays patch is 229 MB, isnt that a bit much for a few fixes ? What else is in it ?

Well, I will chime in here and say that a 229 meg patch is just PSSSSHHHHHHH and that having to download updates to a online game in order to play a online game is even more PSSSHHHHHHHHH and that any update that happens to be larger in size then I personally find acceptable for my own unique reasons....... I will have to get angry and yell at CCP.

COME ON CCP. Did you even stop and think about the customers who are connecting using a Commodore 64 with 80 baud dial up connections? Can we please limit any patch to no more then 200KB of data?

Just saying 5minutes of high def sound is at max 10mb. Usually smaller. What I hope it really fixed is everyone dropping off the server randomly since the last patch.

Today's patch was designed to give you the impression there are people actually working at CCP and they're not just taking your money to fund a non-stop Jaegermeister jag. And, I bet you thought they had something to do with computer programming!

I doubt anyone here knows how to do that anymore. It's always, "BAH, CCP no patch notes...you doing it wrong, [generic *****] [generic whine] [generic complaint] about not keeping players in the loop, etc."

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

Waiting for more then half an hour would still be far too harsh. CCP, please limit patch sizes to 20 KB, thanks. Should be about four minutes at most. This way even C 64 users with their 80 baud connections should be satisfied.

Pfff! ...80 baud dial up shmile up! 20KB shmilobytes! All the complaining!

You people have no idea how privileged you are! I live in the Yanomami jungle and am requesting CCP send out all their future updates via smoke signals!

Pshhhh, you and your fancy smoke signals and Commodore 64s. I play EVE on an Abacus. When I want to aggress someone, I attach a note to a carrier pidgin's leg and send it flying to the house of the guy I'm trying to shoot. The note says 'pew, pew'.
