In-Game Events and Gatherings

Twice before I've taken a Chimera carrier into a low sec system and sat there to allow hundreds of pilots to shoot at me until I'm dead, and awarded prizes to a few lucky participants (along with a capital killmail).

Its been a while but I'm back and we're doing it again!

On June 29th around 9pm Eastern Standard Time (June 30th around 0100 Eve Time) I'll be in space in the Fliet low sec system in Essence region with my Chimera carrier, probably in a large faction warfare complex or some other easily warp-able celestial, and I will stay there until I'm dead. Judging by the previous two times I've done this, it will take about 30 minutes and involve around 160 pilots on my killmail alone.

I've reached out to groups like Noir Mercs, Sniggewaffe, RvB and Stay Frosty and I expect many other groups to show up to fight it out and get a few shots on the Chimera. My own corp, Aideron Robotics, is planning a defense fleet and a couple surprises you don't want to miss.

Heck, even the cowardly Caldari militia is welcome to drop by and lose their ships.

(Note: previous events I fitted smartbombs which was not so friendly to frigates and pods... I will NOT be dong that this time so that the event is more friendly to small ships and solo pilots doing the tourist thing.)

Make no mistake, the Chimera is not jumping out and not warping away to dock up. It WILL die... will you be on the killmail?

* - Depending on prices of the new Mordu's Legion ships by the time July rolls around, I reserve the right to exclude them from the prize selection.

Good luck with the event. A certain group has been making a point to go out of their way to ruin every event possible for a while now, so keep that in mind.

The only way it could be ruined is if they kept me alive until downtime. :)



I've never been PL hotdropped before, kind of looking forward to it. I admit I'm kind of hoping that one power bloc hot drops, and another counter drops, and this big fight breaks out because of little ole me. That would be awesome.

Just for fun here's a few more prizes I'll pitch in:

250m bonus to final blow if weapon listed is a Gecko.
250m bonus to pilot with most damage using Geckos.
100m bonus to the pilot with the lowest, less than zero, damage. (aka can you bug the killmail?)
100m bonus to pilot flying a Mordu ship with the most damage

(killmails list last weapon used by a pilot, gecko must be listed to be eligible!)

Event is happening tonight! Rumour has it Pandemic Legion is dropping a crap tonne of Super carrier on us, come watch the show.

Who is it???

I am going to say this was a definite disappointment. I brought a Talwar fleet hoping for some fun. Ran into your 25 man VNI defense fleet that instantly killed all the talwars. Not really much fun to be had.
