I'd turn it into a true sandbox, and remove CONCORD and faction police, as well as system sec-status in general. Everything would be null-sec, conquerable, etc.

Yes I am CEO of my own business!

1st thing, sit down with lawyers and investors and talk about A. buying out investors, and B. Starting with the EVE community, offering private stock options to fund the game and give people who really want a part of the game a real say in what can go on.

2nd, Call up CCP Soundwave and see how I can bribe him to come back

3. Be open about everything going on inside company.

4. Redo Sov warfare, Blob wars have a place, but the way SOV is right now isn't to much fun with the way it all works.

5. Make Fraction warfare harder to avoid fighting in plexes, and a tag system where once your in a Plex you are able to be shot at (by anyone ) perhaps finding a way where you have to stay in the plex if your Fraction War fighter till the timer is up?

6. War decing of NPC corps (new characters are kicked out of starting corps after Six months to another NPC corp that can be war deced.

7. More Alliance tournaments and New Eden Tournaments, Making the alliance longer and any Alliance that wants in can be in if they been around for a year or more (yes make it longer = more people in it, more publicity for EVE.

8. Do something with Captain Quarters, either make WIS real or pull the whole thing out and use space for something else.

9. Make CSM worthwhile and able to pull people from all aspects of the game, via making candidates pick what they are running on (high sec, low sec, sov, mining, so on ) watching them in-game to make sure that is what they are doing then having better information for voters on each person.

10. I would have all DEVs list there ideas for the game (what they want to work on think would be good for the game ) and post them here for people to see and vote on, So another forum just for DEVs to post and the community to upvote like the Forum we have for Players to do so.

11. Make corp roles and POSes a lot better

12. Make EVE Online, the second generation. Fixing the code, updating, implementing all the ideas in a nice wrapper that EVE has done over years. Higher quality, implanted with the other EVE games. *in EVE lore I'm sure there are ways for a "New" generation of POD pilots to, perhaps another wormhole opens, or a new stargate goes there, and for some reason or other the thing closes gets destroyed whatever but this time no separation of people as they did learn to colonize and bring ships, blueprints and such though (and upgraded in ways )

13. Find other games to work on to make CCP less than a one trick pony *maybe restart WOD, maybe something else depending on who wants to work on what and what budget i can come up with without taking away from EVE.

14. Remake PI, take more of a land manger game (such as Sim city ) where you buy the land and can build cities and have the product of what they do if you if you keep your city happy (and yes have them need this that, natural disasters and so on not to mention Legion mercs trying to storm your city )


I'm sure I would do a lot more (or a lot less as most of these are just dreams ) but these are the things I would push for as CEO and i bet everything I say is "we cannot do this" and I will be "Do it anyway and..... so yeah ;)

If not him, maybe Seagull. Or have one Dev a week open a thread then chat with players about their particular area. It'd probably be more useful to familiarise people with the Devs than the Community Spotlight.

I'm torn between Dinsdale and UAE for CEO. But PLEX FOR BACON is pretty hard to beat.

All skills in Eve Online got a 6th level, with all bonus pushed to a 6th level.

Player owned stagates open up on pissed off Joves.

Jove space is freaky, with an average of 700 AU between planets, gates or stations. suns are all dying there. So are the joves BTW

Joves ships require level 6. Ea Jove destroyer requires level 6 destroyer skill ect

Joves ships are all kind of freaky H.R. Giger style

All cloaked ships leave a matter trace. Players can see this matter only activating a specific, high slot module. You can see the trace but still not the ship. Catching the cloaked ship requires 'manual' piloting and colision, desactivating the cloak

Suns has specific ressources that can be extracted, but requires the exhumers to form fleet with Logitic ships to keep them alive.

PI got its major content update in new patch

Incarna is developed at first in a specific ship, allowing corps to join in their CEO's ships

'Incarna ship' has windows showing the real space of eve online, changes according to location

Primae got a T2 version with cloak

XP on ships, you lose the ship, you loose the xp you gained. Various xp bonuses, does not exeed 3 % stat bonus

Too late man, it's already started. CCP have EA execs positioned in all of the right places now that wod has been cleansed from the accounts.

The first thing Iwould do is order a thorough analysis of all the data collected these past 10 years by a crack team of data miners and analysts that are not connected to the game in any ways.

I would want to know the following most importantly:

- what are the gaming patterns of the players (group #1) that pay their subscription or buy PLEX with RL money, especially in the last year.

- what are the gaming patterns of those (Group #2) that use PLEXes to buy their subcription for all their accounts and alts.

I would then engineer a strong push to nerf game features benefiting group #2 and improve game features that group #1 cares for.

A few the other points of importance I would strongly push for to promote more in-game actions
- No ship can leave the game (log off) when the player disconnects
- No player can impact the game if they are not active behind their keyboard.
- Bring the game content more in-line with the marketing content to not create false impressions from awesome video releases (or vice-versa).
- Reform significantly the CSM.
- Strongly enforce CCP employees' neutrality in the game play.
- Develop more community live events done across the universe, to generate non NPC action, and avoid insider information on those.
