"risk vs reward" should be a scaling system. based off sec of the system in high sec. and for low and null it should be based off number of ships and pod kills and there worth in that constellation in the last day. Therefore ballsdeep blue null sec is crappy rewards where as where there is actual risk it is more rewarding.

Comparing you losing a Machariel to two Cynabals to being suicide ganked in highsec by a dozen Catalysts is just silly. It's as simple as watching local in nullsec... Neutral jumps in you go to the POS. Agreed if you have a neutral camper in system there is a chance for BLOPS hotdrop. You can actually defend against that if you have a PVP fleet in system. There is no defense against a suicide gank fleet. By the time you get there to defend it'll be over.

Yes you can watch local in highsec mission hubs but mixed in with an entire system of neutrals are always going to be a few gankers.


If it's true that nullsec systems are really more dangerous why would you object to payoffs based on ISK lost in player ships? Of course you would scale it based on the average number of pilots in system. I mean safe highsec systems where there aren't many losses would pay poorly while dangerous nullsec systems would pay way more. This would be a boost to nullsec and a nerf to highsec... Of course if you're right about nullsec being so dangerous.

Point is I'm not saying nullsec is safe... With covert cynos BLOPS are always a threat in any system. Yes you can't always stay docked with a local because of cloaky campers. I'm just saying highsec isn't as safe and nullsec isn't as dangerous as you're playing it to be.
