That is a JavaScript option for a website, however I am looking for something in game like the option to link channels, by the channel ID for Mailing lists, since quite a lot of channels work with them and a link would be a lot easier than to explain to new players how to add a mailing list and figure out typos or other problems why they can't join. Something that can be used in the MOTD or a eve mail.

It seems the NCN change has not yet actually been implemented, as several systems have been NCN walled in the last few days. Evil

Don't worry, NCN is just a funny way to spell OCF.

I think the current Incursion incarnation is just fine the way it is. In fact, the current Incursion meta is solely due to player content. Player communities have caused the current meta of popping the MOM early due to site competition. If anything, a mechanic needs to be introduced to allow players to prevent it. I say make entering a MOM site a suspect offense. That way if other organizations want to prevent the MOM being popped, then they can do so by going in and engaging the other fleet. At the very least it will make the people wanting to pop it early really think about going for the MOM.

At the same time, put the rats on the hisec gates, just like they are in lowsec and null.

This right here could be an idea, but the decision of getting flagged suspect is a bad one because then very few moms would get popped because there would almost always be a PVP fit fleet waiting for a mom fleet. Otherwise there could be something where a fleet that wants to keep the mom up, could take the gate, and complete a subversion mission where they would basically be contesting the mom fleet, but instead of popping the mom, they would be trying to online a structure or something by collecting maybe overwhelmed civilians (From an OCF), or something like the mercs from the HQ site that has the picker (Sorry having a brain fart atm and can't think of the site name). The fleets objective could also be tied with repping a new tower thats off to the side.

If the site gets successfully subverted then the mom warps off, the system could go down some influence (maybe like 50% or something), the subverting fleet could get the equivalent of a mom site of LP taken away from the pool (I wouldn't go as far as taking isk). The mom would then respawn once the incursion hits 0% influence.

I had a nice chat with an HQ fleet last night. Lots of ideas about incursions were generated.

They only lost two ships to the Sansha.

My aren't Vindi's expensive when well fit?

I figure it was partially my fault as I was a distraction, asking questions and taking notes. Not that I can afford to even replace the cheaper of the two Vindis. I saw the kill mails and winced.

They had some interesting additions to the ideas I have collected here.

  • Concord LP Store additions : Uniforms, Tags for Sec
  • An Orca modification, exchange ore hold for the room to ship 2 BS's fitted plus a cruiser
  • Seeing incursion rats fight normal ones (Sansha V Angels site, specific to each races space)
  • Hidden sites that need to be scanned down or are contained within a jump maze

There was more and I enjoyed the conversation (except for hearing ships die due to late broadcasts)

No risk for the isk? Bullsh*t. I always can bring my gremlins

Orca modification is a bad idea, i already see (and do to much giggling) orca trapping by switching out ships in PVP. giving the abilety to do surprise BS will make it too powerful of a move considering T3 being more than enough.

incursion rats fight normal ones is a novel idea but at this point im not sure how CCP would take new and unnecessary load to the server and i don't want a tidi environment if i can avoid it.

Concord LP Store additions, i can get on borad for uniforms and the like but not TAGs for sec. introducing that will kill the need the low sec ratting for the tags. it will also have a second fold effect of cheapening the tags and make the gankers more trigger happy (despite how much i like gank victim tiers) this will in turn increase the tie risk/ reward ratio to the incursion runner.

now as for the risk reward belief for incursions, risk is less that in the rats as it is in gankers, don't get me wrong a significant **** up and the rats will get you, although current fits (as of july 2014) are becoming increasingly less tanked with more expensive mods used compensate slightly (although not enough and to the detriment of becoming a gank target) but this is more of a community gribe rather than mechanic.

How about having the incursion 'rats' harass more than asteroid belts? At full incursion they should be loitering around stargates and starbases en masse. And it would be nice to see some half decent bounties and loot for these.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

I can agree with some loot drops and bounties, provided that they are only on the non-site spawns and they are infrequent but not uncommon loot drops.
