I am very open and willing to discuss a bunch of topics, mostly ranging in the broad spectrum of human existence, trying to accommodate myself within my very own shortcomings, BUT , and here I am very candid and open, I am in this EVE like level of " The Minerals I mine myself are free" regarding World Economics and Banking Conglomerates, no shame in admitting that.

A friend currently in Lisboa on holiday told me some people there freaked out over this small snippet of "documentary propaganda" (as dubbed by some) and that me being quite curious decided to watch entirely for the sake of understanding since he was literally fed it on his stay there. I wasnt even aware it existed and at first glance I believed it was another of those Zeitgeist-like clones. But turned out to be quite different.

So I give you this

CATASTROIKA - Multisubs

(It´s quite long two hours like long, in several Euro Languages and needs to be watched with Subs)

And now proceed to my question to those that love to indulge in such topics.

I very naively ask you all, Is this as real as it seems to be?

Eve itself thrives on mechanisms that promote Null Sec - Hi Sec flow of goods (and the cabals that try to control it), be it Technetium or plain trit in an ever flowing circle of self-depredation, and many more varied economic aspects that I am quite fond of being a T2 producer myself , but even after 9 years here several things amaze me still and leave me in awe, it would take me 9 more perhaps to digest all that eve offers outside of the twitchy zergfest CCP tries to sell for mass appeal, that I understand as a driving force but that is not my niche here and I appreciate EVE itself for that.

So in retrospective , what I have learned here I have noted kinda reflects broadly what happens "outside". No one can be here for long without fully understanding basic principles of economy, at least I think so.

Documentaries like those paint a pretty bleak picture for me, and I wonder if people here think the image portrayed there is in a sense true? "truish"?

And if so, where are we headed?

Anyway, feel free to share your ideas on this, or pass along , just wanted to share the documentary and try to discuss it with some of the finest people I have met in forums over the years. I´m a bit in love with OOPE from the start, your silly avatars are like my long lost second cousins from the Plains.

Thanx for reading

Cheers!
