I had much the same thought, along the lines of they got it backwards, RAILS get the big tracking bonus and blasters get the damage.

This makes blasters decent alpha, king DPS in short point range (aka Kamikaziland) and rails....well usefull.

Its hard to remember that rails are doing good damage until I remember that they are hitting three times to every cycle of my arties...sure they don't have the huge alpah but iin small gangs you don't always need it, and if you do, Arty Maels and Snipe Pests will always take that cake.

However, Gallente in particular are always going to be broken until they have some form of mid-range DPS ...that actually works....that isn't a damn Ogre II.

Resist bonus is lame on these ships, makes no sense at all.
These ships should outrange enemies so dont get shot in return,why would they try to be tanky?
You can only use one of the bonuses most of the time due to they contradict eachother.

Significant change is needed for rails to have a reason to be used.
Every other change is just a joke to hide the real problem, rails have no real usefull role.
