Was Pyfa Warrioring a few weeks ago on them. A single all Cap Xfer Guardian can keep 3 Nestors fully capped up. Stick a single Xfer on each Nestor and stick it into the Guardian tinker style and the rest of the highs can run RR. You don't have the range of a Guardian group but it reps more, has more reppers, has a ton of mids for ECCM and stuff plus bonused drones to assist to someone else.

Of course carriers are still better but for lower WH's who want to go super bling while roaming, it isn't super terrible.

Hence me saying lower WH's it's an option. An expensive option for sure, but an option. Each Nestor has double the RR modules and each one does rep harder than a Guardian. It's for sure an option when blap dreads aren't around

Would be nice if they were about say 600-800mil for the Hull. Would really rock then.

You can have exactly that - a lowclass carrier - by fitting a paladin adequately. No issues with jams, 12 locks or what it is, shortranged reps but hey so what, capacitorrecharge as an actual archon with 2 eanms and a dcu, or a shieldtanked nidhoggur. (+400 or so) Atleast it keeps running under two geddons neuting it.

Reps as much as two guardians, tanks 4-7k ehp/s using triplerep with c-type eanm, can refit on a mobile depot and MJD away afterwards and so on. 4k is t2-fit, 6k is with c-type reppers, rest t2. (values rounded up/down for bigger contrast)

So it's obviously worse than 3 nestors and a guardian, but it costs a fraction and runs all night long. Also, one pilot and **** falcons.

(Also your mates can bump you to create transversal to particularly mean guns)
