Following the small patch earlier today my framerates dropped down to 3 FPS. After reinstalling many different driver versions and even multiple re-installations of EVE on separate HDD's I opened up MSI afterburner to find out that GPU usage spikes between 0-30% then flat-lines following the spike. Regardless of spike Framerates still stay at 3 and don't go below or over.

All games outside of EVE perform normally. So dieing GPU/CPU is out of the question.

I have a second computer that I play EVE on and following the small patch everything is normal.

At this point im not sure what to do other then full Windows re-installations, but even then im not convinced even that it will work.

Any help would be great.

Edit: I also get 3 FPS while docked. This is all also with all graphic settings turned down to the lowest.

really odd question, do you have a hybrid CPU? in other words, you have a dedicated GPU, but does your CPU also have an integrated GPU?

I have a similar issue on my laptop with many games, they recognise the integrated graphics on the CPU as being capable of running the game and it switches to that, rather than going for the dedicated GPU by default. The patch may have broken the previous setting. Generally you can change the GPU choice per game in the graphics drivers for your computer.

There is, but I have it disabled at the bios level.

ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77
SAPPHIRE 100352OCSR Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5
Intel Core i5-2320 Sandy Bridge 3.0GHz
Kingston HyperX 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866

The GPU that's being used in game is labeled as my 7950. This is how it was prior to the small 20mb patch that went out earlier today. No settings were changed, no drivers were changed. No hardware changes. Up to launching the launcher earlier this morning I haven't even turned my computer off the previous night.

So the only thing that happened was I got up this morning. The 20mb patch. Low and behold 3FPS no matter what. My other computer though post-patch works normally as before.
