FW Purifier Help

Hey there, total newbie to the game. So far, faction warfare seems to be the most lucrative option for a new player, so I'm currently working towards getting a stealth bomber for L4 missions in FW. I have EFT installed but I don't really know how to go about theorycrafting and getting max DPS while retaining utility. If anybody has a fit they would like to share, please post and, if you could, leave explanations for why you chose certain modules so that I can help myself in the future instead of having to ask. Also, if you're a FW veteran, what do you think the minimum skills are for Minmatar L4's? Thanks! o7

You dont need the AB, but it does help close the ranges quicker.

Requires 1% pg implant:

How useful is the tp when its max range is 45ish and you will be sitting at 60-65km and at 100-105km with jav's

It also has a 90km falloff remember so it does not just instantly stop working at 45km, I personally normally set orbit on something at 50km so for me I'm general only 5km out of optimal so I get nearly full effect.

The effectiveness of it does depend on which NPC your shooting, against BS its effect is minimal as most NPC BS have sigs larger then that of the torp, however if shooting something like a hauler, which in a lot of missions is the goal, then it helps a hell of a lot, with all lvl 5 skills your getting an exp radius of 337.5 with faction torps, and the sig of most NPC haulers is 125 so you will notice a great decrease in vollys needed with a painter vs not having one and therefore a better isk/hour.

Because it's ambiguously worded and often misunderstood, I want to nitpick this.

TPs, like all EWAR with falloff, don't work exactly like guns do. EWAR effects are always binary: they either hit or they miss. If they hit, they hit for full effect. If they miss, nothing happens.

In falloff, the chance of a hit is reduced, but the effect of a hit is not. As a result, you're looking at a 100% chance to hit at 45km, 96% change at 50km, 89% at 60km, 76% at 80km.... Even out at 100km your chance to hit is 65%. And again, if it lands, it lands for full effect.

So usually it hits, particularly within the range of torps. And even if it were to miss, chances are very good it will hit on the next cycle; you're only out 10 seconds of increased signature.

In the Kronos the TP cycle time was reduced to 5 sec so it is even better in that regard now.
