Those in unscannable boosting T3s know that they do not have to move very quickly. The smart ones have multiple safes setup. The chances of catching them are very, very small. That is the issue. Catching and killing boosting ships ought be possible. Boosting T3s should not be unprobable. That's the point. Pretty simple.

The simply fact of dropping a set of combat probe in system will kill an "unprobable" off-grid boost.
The booster has no way of knowing if you can or not complete the scan to 100%, so he has to move everytime probes get close, he has to carefully watch his scan on his alt and everytime he moves to a different safe spot if he chooses to keep the links running even with combats probes in system (most don't), the links will break, which can very well kills him if he's engaged and relies heavily on those (fast kiters juggling with frigs, a scram lands on you and you're toast)

You don't need to kill it to nullify most of it's effect.

Now don't get me wrong, skirmish links on a kiting setup are definitly very, very strong and hard to deal with, too hard to deal with compared to the advantages they provide, BUT, there is ways to fight it

Sure you are not derailing your own thred now Blink

Anyway, I just wanted to add a few things from the posts, sicne I haven't looked into it for a while.

Regarding to be always on the station to dock at any moment isn't really a always possible option in High Sec either, I know some incursion fleets that will not welcome you, when you say such a thing or they catch you doing it.

And Ravens comment made me think about some of the diminishing return options I kn ow from other features in regards to the implants, where two effects share the same bonus and only the higher can apply, so once the skill is trained properly, implants won't have any effect anymore, which works towards the early benefit, latter redundancy suggestion.

But both are a bit off topic, since neither off grid nor implants really were the main issue.

Otherwise I stick with my first post.
