Faction Ammunition - Make it different.

Not supported, just under the assumption that the dps + damage split of the more popular ammo types were already determined with balance in mind. If the base dps:type is changed, would base resists also need consideration?

I mean, what if minmatar could essentially deal titanium sabot dmg split @ fusion range and dps. One of the weaknesses of minmatar is terrible kinetic dmg.

Or say antimatter that leans more toward thermal, does it essentially become a completely superior version of phased plasma?

Well don't compare projectile ammo to hybrid , or any other race to race ammo.
different race -> different guns -> different ships -> different cap usage -> etc


This topic is not making superior faction ammo that will make other obsolete, rather about putting some love in pirate faction ammunition that in many cases is far worst than navy faction one.

Base idea is to make this ammo identical to higsec one.
But at the same time creating some new niche ammo could bring something interesting to game.
