hello

Im reasonably new to eve with 4 months experience o/

basically, the jettison update is glorious and that shouldn't be touched imo.

however I would like to know why relic and data rewards have been nerfed 1000% ... its horrible scanning through -0.4 space and struggling to pop open each can, just to receive two freaking Carbon ... like what the hell!

tl;dr

what happened to my 50m rewards.

They haven't been nerfed 1000%.

Did you know, you can check what's in them first?
and yes the loot tables took a 20% hit

Cargo scanners are your friend.

The small decrease is well worth getting rid of loot spew. Any exploration ship should fit a cargo scanner, this will save you loads of time hacking into useless sites.

Yup, using a cargo scanner is super useful.

Also, since many people think that 'the jettison update is glorious', this might not be the best time of the year to do data/relic sites: big spike in competition.

You might be getting just carbon because it's the leftovers of some other explorer before you...

This issue has been addressed. the amount of loot has been reduced to ~70% of previous values in exchange for loot spew being removed.
