I tried to stick a rigged cruiser into an Obelisk and was told it was too big. ??

I'm took a year's break and have been back for a day and a half.

1) your cargo hold shrunk in the most recent patch
2) your freighter now has low-slots, if you fit cargo expanders it will fit once more, and you'll even have a little more room.
3) your freighters can now be more flexible, but they sacrifice their vast cargo holds to do so.

You can't put assembled ships inside a normal cargohold without making making a courier contract to get the plastic wraps.

This goes for all ships.
