Every loan is basically a value judgement - is this business opportunity worth the risk it entails?

When you come and present yourself as the only element of the business opportunity, you are the one who will be judged. Plain and simple. Both as a risk and as a business opportunity.

Something loan applicants may want to take note of - this is a case where the risk was simply too high. No one even considered the business opportunity (10% interest payout) just the risk. Which it seems investors considered too high.

Mitigate the risks and loans will be forthcoming (collateral is by far the best way to mitigate risk).
