[Proposal] Buy Neural Remap with Plex

Personaly i think having to wait 1 year between remap's is a PITA

I am slowly running out of stuff to train at 178m sp, i have trained all sub caps, trained all caps apart from rorq and titan, i would like now to be able to use a plex to purchase a neural remap instead of having to wait a couple of months for the next remap.

So i would like to propose that we are able to purchase 1 neural remap per plex and no limit on the amount of neural remaps we can purchase.

When remaps were first announced, they were coming with a 6 monthly allowance. But many players didn't like it, so CCP changed it to 1 a year.

I doubt they will change their minds and I doubt the many of the players will either.

I have over 200 mil SP and have a training plan that will be on going for another 3 to 4 years. If I renew my sub that is.

Purchasing a remap with a PLEX is not going to make any difference to the problem stated in your request, that being "I am slowly running out of stuff to train at 178m sp".

So, NO, there is no need to make changes to allow the purchasing of extra remaps.

There's only 2 or 3 useful attribute layouts anyway. Needing to frequently change them indicates that you're doing something in an extremely inefficient way.

I think it would be a better idea to allow the yearly remap to stack to at least one in reserve.

1 plex per neural remap would be expensive. I would like to be able to convert a yearly remap or a bonus remap into an item and sell it on the market. Though I don't think you should be able to convert to the ones you start off with.

I disagree. Something so valuable as to only come around once a year is expensive at the price of a plex? I don't think so.

With the proper remap i could shave around 10 days off my 70 day skill plan.......Not huge but its still tangible.

Deciding whether or not to enable a new use for PLEX on the basis that it might change PLEX prices is not imo how one makes good balance decisions.

The only thing OP's proposal will do is reduce the amount of tears one sheds every time one looks at all those level 5s they really want and have to spend a butt-tonne of time to get, or accelerate one into some of those extremely high multiplier speciality skills. The actual benefits are typically very small.

PLEX for remaps sounds fine to me. Supported.
