How does a pos work with regards to being in a Corp and passwords. If a friend logs off in my pos who is not in my corp and I change the password when he is logged off, will he be given a chance to enter the new pass word before being bounced out of the pos? Also is it possible with a pos if you own it to type in someone's name and give them rights to enter the pos without having to enter a password?

POS are terrible things, how the POS works will depend entirely on how you set it up. If your friend has the password he can get in, if you change the password he should have time during the log on warp to put the new password in and shouldn't bounce (cannot confirm this however.)

As far as i am aware you cannot tell the POS to allow pilots, they need the password or they won't get in.

As for POS being used by corp, you can set it up to allow corp members into the shield without a password. or you can lock corp members out by unchecking it. then only players with a password can gain access.

You can take this further by allowing corp members into the shields, but changing the roles required to access anything within the POS (such as Corporate Hangar Array etc).

POS set ups can be a pain and unless you really know what you want to try to achieve it's hard to offer a best way to operate the POS. I might suggest giving an out of corp pilot access and changing the password could end badly if you have guns set up to shoot any non corp members and he bounces out on log in.
