Industry Job Slots

I'm still a noob about the Industry part of Eve -- How many slots can a person run at once? I just read that you can have a max of 10 but why have I got 15 jobs running in my station? Some are copying, some are invention and some are manufacturing.
Does each type of job have its own slot limits? Do slot limits extend to other Industry stations, like for example I have used up all my slots at Station A, can I go to Station B in another system or region and max them out there too? How do POS slots factor into all this?

You may have up to 1 + (level of Mass Production Skill) + (level of Advanced Mass Production) manufacturing jobs and 1 + (level of Laboratory Operation) + (level of Advanced Laboratory Operation) research jobs.

That has nothing to do with where you run the jobs, those are the limits a character has.

Ahh.. ok gotcha - I'll save that equation !

Where do Copying and Invention fall -- under Manufacturing or Research?

Don't forget to delete this equation once the Crius update in July is deployed. Since it removes slots for industry.

No.

Crius removes station slots, not a player's max number of running jobs.

The stations and POSs are gaining unlimited slots, the number of concurrent jobs a single character can run will still be a function of the mass production, advanced mass production, lab operation and advanced lab operation skills. We won't suddenly be able to run unlimited jobs.
