waypoints list and starmap ?

since the first build of the winter expansion, and the change to autopilot / waypoint UI, there were something missing :
the list of systems on the way, on the left of the starmap.
and i used this feature a lot.

in eve (and in real life), i am always lost.
in eve, when i want to go somewhere, i will check the systems on the way to know where i will go, what regions i will go though, if i will use some classic systems (like uadema/niarja for exemple). and for that i will open the starmap for one second after setting destination, check the list at the left and close it.
now i can't do that anymore. i need to check either on a show info of the destination system, switch tab, and check, without visualization. or check on the small waypoint tab of the starmap, without colors, and without seeing much.
you did some nice change on the UI of the autopilot, but not enough for me to be able to play without my list visible.

when i am teleported somewhere, with a jump portal, bridge, or while leaving a wormhole, i will also need this feature of the starmap.
first i will check the distance from my assets ; am i far from hubs ? from my base ? then set destination to one, and check on starmap the way to go... with the vertical list on the left, as it's the quicker way. now i can't anymore.

i checked every build of the expansion, hoping this feature was back, but it was not.
i tried to ask on some topics the devs go, without results.
so i'm trying here again ; will this feature will be back for the 29th or is it lost forever ?
thanks for answering

That's a good point. Now there's no easy list of systems on the way. You can mouse-over the points in the Route readout, but that's not really letting us visualise it. You can bring up the destination info, press the Route tab, and scroll through the systems that way, but it's cumbersome.

I agree it would be nice to see that list back when the starmap is open.

Well, the list was usually blocked by other interface elements (Local for me) so it's utility was pretty small.

I wouldn't mind if the list was presented in a separate window that opened up by right-clicking the new route info (both in map view and out).

Actually the F11 panel is pretty useless as it is and would be a great place for this.

I often don't use the list either, but this would be a very good use of the 'mapbrowser' tab
