So I guess they got rid of it all?

I thought they were just removing NPC kill data from the API for wormholes, but I guess they got rid of all kill data.

I think the reasoning was that this way was more consistent and that info could be pulled from killboards anyway ...

Yea honestly don't care. Just keep a KB open now and check the system. It's not hard to gauge system activity times etc from KB data. It's just my map has this really boring box now that will never show any pretty graph data anymore.

Yeah, ZKILL still pulls the data almost instantanious anyways..

How can kill boards be updated correctly if the API data is not visible?

I don't really care about this change but it's a shame that third parties can't use the information to create apps for wormhole space. It's reached the point that CCP should create an ingame wormhole mapping tool.

Killmails are still available over the API, the "number of pve/pvp kills in the last 1h/24h" isn't anymore.

Though the 'PvP kills in the last 1/24' isn't too hard to figure out.

Yeah, that was a bit of a surprise. Honestly, our tools were probably getting a bit too good anyway.

Wonder what's next when W-space dwellers still stomp all over the Nullbear farmers who then go cry to CCP. Covert Ops cloaks only work when you hold Sov over the current system? Scanner probe strength in W-space is reduced by 95%?

Just less J->null connections. Oh wait, they tried but then surprisingly listened to the C6 overlords Lol

This removal of npc data finally killed my playstyle completely off. I guess I´ll stick to easy but less juicy kills in k-space Sad
Maybe we get some changes this year, besides the corprolerevamp.

Fixing corp roles and POS's to better protect peoples assets would be a huge boost to wormholespace more than any other aspect of eve. New people = new content

Things spoken of at the wh roundtable included T3 rebalance, corp roles after which POSes get a revamp, changing black holes, t3 industrials, after that maybe t3BS, with the new CCP 'dungeon tool' more anoms and a slight chance of 'uberescalating a site, maybe a sleeper capital' and C7holes, or something similar with say ice, that can't be inhabited. I might have missed some, but a lot of these were just ideas and are not confirmed for eventual implementation.

I follow your logic but changes to the POS and corp role mechanics providing a "huge boost" is unproven and therefore just an opinion. Also, new people does not equal new content, it simply leads to an increased population and traffic. Content is the stuff that CCP add to the game.

@ Borsek, CCP are pretty good at talking. Those things you listed were also discussed at last years fanfest and the one before that Blink

As far as i know this was the lates thing CCP have said about wormhole space: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4594808#post4594808

Basically, they have some things planned be they're not doing them yet because everyone is 100% happy with wormhole space. What?

Personally I don't believe even half of them will be implemented, and the ones that will, will only get in in about two years. Still, in general w-space is the least broken area of space, except for habitation (POSes and roles). In any case, looking forward to the changes once they come.
