Could I get some advice on Solo Moros fit please for running C5's?
Aquila Sagitta I watched your video in the Nag very cool & quick, like the re-fitting to stabs.

How many toons are you using? 1 for scanning / warp-in bm's, 1 for Dread? Anything else?

I Saw this post, that suitable?

I was using 3 toons but 2 is sufficient. **** could even do it with one it would just take a lot more prep time. I had 1 scout for warpins, a carrier pilot for extra spawn, and the dread pilot.

That fit looks fine. Test everything out on sisi. Its easier than ever now with moveme to c5 wh's. Make sure you got refits in your hold for stabs, cap, all three kinds of tanking, optimal range, damage, props, etc.

I used a speed fit daredevil to burn pings off wh's for easy rolling. DD was fast enough that if you warp at the same time to hole you could jump and burn ping before dread landed. And has the added bonus of webbing things off Big smile

Oh and another piece of advice. Don't start doing this just to make isk. Thats what I did. Have a goal otherwise you'll get burned out real fast. Moved into wh started jewing and quit the game a shortly after.

I live in a c3 and run all sites with a pricey tengu, but i was hoping to find a cheaper alternative to be used purely for running combat anoms, not sigs.

Caldari/Minnie spec is what I can do via my two chars, one could run t2 shield/armor links if necessary.

Any suggestions folks?

Just spit ballin here. RR Ferox or maybe RR Cyclones. Otherwise I'm sure ravens would do well. Looked at a Gilas? Maybe even RR Tempests would be good now since dps buff.

Idk its been a looong time since I've run c3's. I used RR Tengu/Mach combo to clear sites in under 10 mins. Now tho I'd probably just run a couple domis

Honestly if your only doing home site c3's you cant beat the efficiency of duel xl ancilary rattles fit for full dps and cruise. They have great utility and eat up c3's with as low as 3 min clear times.

Power-clearing C3's static conncetions though means you collapse the hole too quickly. Cruisers are more popular for the lower mass.

I'd love to see an effective T3 fit that wasn't a tengu for this.

Wonder if there is a good Legion fit for clearing C3 sites, but I assume it would run into cap issues.

C1 / C2 / C3

Gila

Dread Guristas Rapid Lights x4 (t2 will work fine)

Corelum C-type 10mn x1
Pith A type Thermal DIssipation Amp x1
Pith A Type Em Ward Amp x1
Republic Fleet Large Shield Ext x3

Shield Power Relay x3

Medium Core Defence Field Purger T2 x3

Augmented Hammerhead x5
Intergrated Hammerhead x5

Cago - Mobile Dep, x3 Drone Amp's x 3 Stabs x3 Republic Fleet Large Shield Ext x1

If you want extra tank dorp the ab but i feel the need for it but if im fighting and feel I can get by without I stick the 4th shield ext on

The c3 is still do able but you may have to warp off if you mess it up as you no longer have the x4 low slots for that extra SPR

Ensure you have the Support skills for maximum Effect

Hi Newbro(4M SP) here. I'm looking for a cheap (SP and ISK) fit to deal with Sleepers that Spawn in Gas Sites like Barren_Perimeter_Reservoir

Bit late to the party sorry. Prepare yourself for legion expertise. If you arent interested in legion fits, stop reading now!

The legion is great in a c3 and probably my favourite t3 due to the ability to instantly swap ammo to suit range and not need to worry about running out. Your only concern really is frigates which can be a pain if you dont know what spawns in what wave (but are fine once you know what to expect).
Its also the sexiest and nicest to look at. (This is fact not opinion, your argument is invalid)

The fit below is the sort of thing I'd use if running C3 sites. If I remember right you need about 50% cap stable in a legion for the neuts there if youre tanking the worst anoms. The fit assumes good skills and enough isk to afford it, though if you're living in wormholes you should have plenty of isk for a decent PvE ship. It is also fit for fast clear times and low tank so be careful in it as the tank is only just enough. Dont be afraid to overheat if you mess up.
Keep your afterburner on and kill any turrets quickly as they apply the best dps to you. Swap the tracking computer for a web if you're struggling with the frigates. Always bring a depot and warp core stabs.

This is from memory, so check market prices for faction / DED items before buying as they may not be the most cost effective now.

If your skills are low or you don't want to splash on isk you can either upgrade the repper / resists to an A-type or try a lower dps fit like this one, which is a great entry level T3 fit until youre more comfortable. As mentioned in an earlier post though, your best way to minimalise isk loss from PvP is to run the sites quickly and get out, so I prefer the higher dps blingy fit. Ive only ever lost one and even that was completely avoidable.

Cap battery for neut reflects as a recharger leaves tonnes of fitting room, many options with this setup. Recharger can be swapped for a 2nd targetting computer if you're comfortable with neuts. (drops to 43% stable)

Living in WHs you will never regret skilling a legion pilot. HAM legions, neut legions and PvE legions are all great ships that you will use regularly. Theyre extremely versatile.

This Tengu should be able to do all C4 sites easely, it can also run C5 sites(exept Core Stronghold) really well.

I don't think that would survive C4s. HAMs are tricky in places given that sleepers neut @ 70km and it won't have the DPS to break the RR on certain sites.

You can do most C4s is you switch toT2 Heavies though.

C6 Red Giants can still be done by smartbombing (used Abaddons, not Apocs) with the right fits and precision. Best if the sites are spawned already, and you have the correct warpins.

That being said, it's a lot less hassle to do sites conventionally if you're already set up for that.

And if your archon gives you reps, you don't die and another smart bombing Abaddon doesn't pod you.

Other than that, its great!

You don't need an archon (or the new Fleet Aux) for RR. I made a smart bomb abandon fit with 96 (or 98, don't remember) % resist. A single armor rep on the ship itself is more than enough.

Fit RR reps and get a loki/proteus in there for frigs/ low sig cruisers. Two large reppers and one cap transfer. The T3 does the webbing while the rauders melt everything. A legion/proteus can still add 700dps+ while providing web support.

True, I'm just sad that the old solo / 2 to 4 marauder ratting fleets are derped mostly now. you dont have much choice but to go in cap fit at this point for c5 and that lowers your dps alot.
