To me anything under 600 million isk is not worth it for me to use my IRL money to buy Plex to sell to the unemployed leaches of society. When it hits 600+ million isk I will do my part to cash in on the leaches and help stabilize the price of plex at 600 million.

So according to this logic everyone who plays eve with PLEX is a leach of society? Or maybe everyone who plays EVE period? You might have a point there since indeed you don't really contribute to the society while you play EVE. As in you don't produce food and shelter for others. And you don't pay CCP employee's bills. All you do is flip bits on CCP servers. So according to thi s logic perhaps we should all stop playing EVE and just donate a thousand bucks to CCP, call it a day and move on with our lives? This way we'd do away with the productive part of playing EVE (paying CCP's bills) and move on to doing other productive things in the meanwhile!!!

EDIT:

Actually I think ISK for PLEX subscribers do contribute to the society. Here's how: presumably these subscribers are at a price sensitive point and if they had no option to pay with PLEX they could have quit. If enough people quit the game might fold. If the game folds CCP employees are left with no food and shelter. So I think indirectly people who pay with PLEX are thus contributing to the society by indirectly helping employees have food and shelter.

If panick sets in they may collapse waaay down, either way, this is A LOT of fun to watch. I actually dumped at 475 after buying there when it bacame clear that I was wrong and it wasn't going to hold. Lost about 80m or so in the process but its worth it just for the pure entertainment value.

I wish I had some free capital so I could jump on the bandwagon here after the fact...crashing markets is always fun, crashing plex must be heavenly.

Balls and alcohol, apparently.

Having got my ass back into The Forge and looking at the buys, well.... There's really not much volume until we hit the 425-430 marker where we have 265.

Note how there are people sitting at large sell volume at around 500. Probably 200 volume. They'll come back in a few hours and check their market orders. What are they going to do? Who knows? Panic?

I wouldn't be buying PLEX right now lol
The upside is very limited, the downside is potentially very high.
Remember when big volume sitting idle at 500 comes back on a 24 hour cycle, it will move down.

We need to keep collapsing the margin down. Can't let people hold onto PLEXES, we need to buy low and put them back on the market to keep the downward pressure!!!

Resistance at 463 retreated. Smart move, I think we are about to experience the next stage in the show.

The last 463 order is 20 hours old. Someone is about to lose ISK.

Price recovered some but clearly as momentum is picking up and we have multiple traders working on bringing down the spread.

One extra observation is that the market is getting more volatile and it's dangerous for people to leave large overnight orders.

is it just me or are a lot of other commodities going down as well. I have stront, hulks, t2 guns and whatnot all taken a 5% sellers hit over the past few days. Tengus have gone screwy because someone was manipulating them but the other t3s are going down last i checked. T1 minerals are flat but i think that river is so deep nothing but major macro economic changes can make a dent in it. Some sort of PLEX related deflationary period?
