Hey everyone, I just got my first kill in eve!

I joined eve to pvp after coming across a video on youtube and decided to try it out and OMG it's awesome! As soon as I felt confident I bee-lined straight for lowsec. It wasn't long before I found another new player mining without protection. I messaged him saying "hey let's fly together, we're both new" (it was a trick) and he told me where he was. Second I got there I blew him up. I gave him some isk after to replace his losses.

It was so much fun, I've never had such an adrenaline rush in a game before.

You killed a miner? GZ! :P

I can see what you see not - vision milky then eyes rot. When you turn they will be gone - whispering their hidden song.

Twice, he came back again. Took a bit more work to find him but I don't understand why he came back and made the same mistake twice.

gratz, and yeah, due to the simple fact that things are destroyed forever in this game the combat is far more gratifying. somehow in the back of your head your unconsciousness knows the danger is real.

I jumped twice through a gate in nullsec without checking intel first. Bubbles are a great thing.

well done

if you want to lowsec pvp, learn to use the dscan tool. that way you don't have to ask them where they are :P

(it'd have saved sadao, too)

that will get weak over time, but it will never disappear. first time is always the best.

If there ever was any doubt that EvE is just a playground littered with toys and made for bullies, look no further.

You must have quite the issues.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

how did you find out his name?

He checked one of the third party websites like zkillboard.com, copy and paste someone's name and it will show you their combat log .
Useful for checking bragging. Also good for learning what people like to fly, who with and where.
Benny is also a magician, so it could be that.

Ganking miners is not PvP.

It's like beating up little girls in the school yard.

A miner is a player. Therefore, by definition, it is PvP and your own personal opinion on his target does not factor into this fact.

The way I see it, he has the ability to defend (scan, notice me and fly away) and I have have the ability to attack. Thus it's pvp, not my problem he didn't scan.

Its still violence, it doesn't stop being violent because she doesn't fight back.
had you said "Ganking miners is not Fair." you might have a point but it is pvp.
