Yesterday, I posted my concern. I haven't been able to play EVE. I cannot download your client from your servers. The worse part is nobody from this company is able to reply. And they simply choose to ignore their clients. I pay monthly subscription and they don't seem to care. They treat their clients like crap.

At this point, I am really getting tired of this ****. Your clients don't need to be programmers to play your game.

I want a reply and once this problem is solve I want my days of gameplay devolve. Because I know it's your problem several people from my corp are having the same.

I can understand you're angry, but you need to be calm and provide more detailed information.

  • Have you opened a support ticket with the GMs? They may be able to help. If you did, and haven't received a response, post on :)
  • What OS are you on? Windows, Mac? Which version? Are you installing via Steam?
  • Have you tried doing a clean uninstall?
  • What happens when you try installing? Does it install the launcher and then fail? Does it start downloading the patches? You may want to provide more detail here, possibly some logs.
  • Have you tried the Offline Installer?

I am using Windows 7. I already uninstalled EVE from my system.

That's the exact problem. I cannot get your client from your website. I am unable to connect to your servers. I already tried your offline service and all others links you got on your website. I just can't get your clients and don't understand why. I already turn off my firewall and still it doesn't work.

Is there any way that I can get the client from another website or something? Or, is there another alternative?

I'm having similar problems aswell. The launcher couldn't update, not to mention it looked broken. The client repair flailed about trying to connect to the server and couldn't get the repair data. I'd hope a clean reinstall would do the trick but sadly...

This link over here refuses to work for me. The Offline Installer also doesn't work. Either my ISP decided on patch day to block everything CCP related, as unlikely that may sound, or the download server is not working properly. I guess 24 hours is not enough to get a working install client to include the latest hotfix so the link we got is just a empty placeholder. Which is understandable but highly inconvinient for me.

Here's hoping this will be fixed today after the downtime. To think I was having so much fun with my Astero the day before... Bummer!

I am having the same exact problem.

Actually on the day they made the update to the new expansion, everything was working well. But since yesterday after the downtime, I think they put up a new patch. I was unable to first, update my game. Afterward when I uninstalled, I couldn't get another client so I am pretty much stuck.

I hope with the downtime today they fix this issue.

I hope that everyone who is having problems have opened support tickets. The more of them there are, the faster the problem will be solved.
