Did the old Gila model suit it better?

I love the new model. Any ship with a Moa hull wasn't even an option to fly before because of the sheer embarrassment that came with it's appearance. The new model looks great, I love the warp animation and the drone bay on it's hull. I think they did a fantastic job.
