So, I've finally encountered an Incursion in a system I'm operating in. I've read up on the 'plexes, fleets, etc. and it sounds interesting.

What I haven't found is any information on the Incursion belt 'rats. I tried taking a few on and warped off in hull. Ouch. Those suckers hit just as hard as the plex 'rats. I think I can handle a proper fit for them now that I have some experience, but I wanted to ask: is there any benefit to doing so? Do they drop good loot, does killing them help with the Incursion progress, do I earn LP, etc.?

I'm just wondering if it's worth my time or not.

I don't know about HS but..

Low sec/null sec incursion rats are there for one purpose.. To randomly wreck your **** when they feel like it.

Heh, I did try running a mission even though I knew the rewards were lowered and Icursion rats paid me a visit. Not trying that again, LOL!

I was running belts in low sec last night when an incursion dropped. I docked the ship and decided to leave it abandoned on that station for a week. No way I'm getting it out while the incursion is active
